The Vecchie Carceri is a pizzeria in the center of Castiadas, next to the old city jail (which has now become a great museum). Founded in 1990, they offer an unquestionable quality cuisine in the Sardinian tradition and  culture.

The terrace is ideal for summer dining place, and we recommend a visit after a day at the beach on the nearby coast, such as Cala Pira, Monte Turno, Cala Sa Figu, Porto de S’Illixi ..

We recommend their antipasti Vecchie Carceri to start and one of their homemade pizzas (no matter which choice, all are very rich! And have a great price between 6.5 € and 8 €). For those who do not want pizza, we encourage you to try one of the specialties of the area, the Zuppa di Cozze e Ceci (soup of mussels and chickpeas).

There is an area to park the car right in front of the restaurant.
